Job Description
Make a positive impact in local schools by providing speech-language pathology services for the upcoming academic year. Two contract opportunities are available: one full-time position for the full school year, and one short-term role (0.8 FTE) covering a maternity leave from August 19 through September 30.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to implement effective interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ needs within the educational setting
