Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the San Juan Capistrano area. This assignment offers the chance to work full-time, five days per week in both preschool and middle school settings, primarily supporting a Leave of Absence. The anticipated start is mid-October, with the end date to be determined. A fixed term beginning September 17 through mid-December is also available.
As a key member of the school team, you will work on-site, providing assessment, direct therapy, and collaboration to meet the speech and language needs of students. Your expertise will be pivotal in empowering students to achieve their full potential.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool and/or middle school students in a school-based setting
- Reliable, organized, and independent professional with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to commit to the full contract duration
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to provide integrated support
- Participating in IEP meetings as needed
