Job Description

This contract position offers a unique opportunity to serve across multiple campuses, providing essential psychological services to diverse learners.
You’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch), allowing you the flexibility to maintain work-life balance while focusing on student care. The assignment will run through the school year, concluding just as summer begins. As an itinerant professional, you’ll adapt to various school settings, providing your expertise wherever it’s needed most.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential required
- Eligible for State Licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop intervention strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
- Support educational teams by participating in IEP meetings and offering expert recommendations
- Adapt psychological services across multiple school sites and grade levels (caseload and specific age groups to be determined)
