The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about fostering student success at the district level.

Key qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid CT School Psychologist certification or eligibility.
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in an educational setting preferred.
  • Solid understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies for a range of student needs.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and report-writing skills a must.
  • Ability to travel to multiple schools within the district.
  • In-person availability for the full contract term.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct psychological and counseling services to students in grades K-12.
  • Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to inform eligibility and intervention plans.
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and student support plans.
  • Consulting with school staff on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Serving as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams across the district.

This role offers a dynamic, student-focused setting with the opportunity to work closely with education professionals committed to every learner’s growth. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with 32-37.5 hours per week.
