Job Description
Step into an impactful role making a difference for children by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive school environment. This full-time contract opportunity is for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year and is suited for those passionate about serving pediatric populations. You’ll be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster communication development and support student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid AZ Teaching Certification
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Experience or interest working in a school-based setting with pediatric populations
- Open to SLP-CCC and CFY applicants
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect Speech-Language services to a diverse school population
- Conduct assessments, and develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Contribute to a positive school culture by advocating for best practices in communication and language development
