\nPurpose:\n
\nDavis & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support all aspects of the project management team, and field operations where necessary. Support the project management process by performing and engaging in engineering tasks such as processing shop drawings, managing the workflow of document controls, change management, outsourcing, scheduling and other related activities. Coordinate and prepare of project procedures and all related requirements to ensure the smooth flow of the project.\n

\n*Skills required:*\n

\nExcellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.\n
\nProject management of development initiatives.\n
\nPossess strong planning, budgeting, critical thinking skills.\n
\n
\nWindows Office; Microsoft Software knowledgeable.\n
\n
\nProlog or similar software\n
\nPlans and Specifications Knowledge\n
\nUnderstanding of scheduling, estimating and cost software\n
\n
\n*Essential Responsibilities:*\n
\nReview design and bidding documents, evaluate contractor bids, oversee construction progress and schedule.\n
\n
\nProvides technical support to the construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager.\n
\n
\nEstablish a system to manage review, and monitor, the distribution of shop drawings and submittals required for the project.\n
\n
\nReview and distribute submittals.\n
\n
\nKeep abreast of the project progress to the management team.\n
\n
\nCompare and evaluate the sequencing of work for the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers' construction schedule.\n
\n
\nManage requisition procedure for review and submission of pay applications.\n
\n
\nOversee Change Orders, Estimates, and Proposals for the responsible parties' review and approval.\n
\n
\nWork with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field operations assigned on the project.\n
\n
\nPerforms other related assignments related to the project when required.\n
\n
\n*Minimum Requirements:*\n
\nFive (5) years in Construction Project Engineering or related field.\n
\nAbility and knowledge to conduct the essential duties.\n
\nKnowledge of Construction Engineering and Management.\n
