Step into a rewarding role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational setting near Peru, IN. This onsite, part-time contract position allows you to work three days a week (flexible on which days), with hours from 8:00am to 3:45pm, totaling approximately 21.75 hours per week. You’ll work alongside an SLPA to support a manageable caseload of around 55 students, ensuring every child receives the attention and guidance they deserve.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in schools
  • Experience or strong interest in working in an educational environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for helping students develop their communication and language skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, adjusting interventions to meet individual goals
  • Collaborate with the SLPA to divide and manage caseload tasks effectively
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
  • Keep accurate records in compliance with school requirements and professional standards
