Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by supporting their success and growth as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a contract position serving K-8th graders across several campuses in Lake County, IL. Work closely with a vibrant school community, providing occupational therapy services to help children develop the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois, with registration through the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR)
  • Minimum three years of experience delivering occupational therapy services, including at least three years working in a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to multitask across multiple school campuses
  • A passion for supporting children’s developmental and educational goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for students in grades K-8 across two to three school campuses
  • Evaluate students’ needs, monitor progress, and create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and other educational professionals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to set appropriate educational and developmental goals
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Promote inclusive practices and strategies within the classroom setting to support students’ access and participation

This part-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, structured over two to three days, allowing for an excellent work-life balance while serving multiple school communities.
