This full-time, in-person contract role is an excellent opportunity to apply your SLP-CCC credentials and contribute to a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA CCCs
  • Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, serving PreK-8th grade students
  • Bilingual skills with Spanish proficiency preferred, though not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working with culturally and linguistically diverse student groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades PreK-8
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and social success
  • Service locations may include campuses in Great Lakes, North Chicago, and (potentially) Waukegan
  • Travel to multiple sites within the school network as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
