School Psychologist - Zachary, Louisiana

You'll collaborate on-site with a multidisciplinary team, serving several school locations, with the flexibility of 29 hours per week and possible hybrid arrangements.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Louisiana DOE certification in School Psychology.
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessments, IDEA compliance, and special education eligibility.
• Experience interpreting and compiling detailed, actionable evaluation reports.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary team processes and special education protocols.
• Effective organizational skills to maintain accurate case records and meet evaluation timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting assessment outcomes to both professional teams and families.
• Ability to develop strong partnerships with educators, administrators, and families.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for students PK-12 and provide timely written reports.
• Deliver clear findings and support for educational planning, interventions, and student services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
• Establish rapport with parents, school staff, and outside agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
• Guide parents and educators through assessment processes and interpret results.
• Maintain thorough documentation and case records to ensure service continuity and accountability.
• Attend professional development days starting July 27, 2026, as well as ongoing training throughout your contract.
