Staff Pharmacist - Wolfforth, Texas

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist in a specialized pediatric hospital setting. This contract role requires night shift coverage, offering a unique opportunity to apply your clinical skills in an inpatient environment focused on children's health.

Location:

• Wolfforth, TX

Schedule:

• Night shift, 7 days on / 7 days off
• Hours: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Potential transition to day shift later in the year covering FMLA (through 1/13/2027)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pharmaceutical services primarily for pediatric patients
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively to manage medication orders and dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license required
• Inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Pediatric pharmacy experience is a strong advantage
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
