Make an impact by supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic Minnesota educational setting. This contract opportunity welcomes in-person professionals for either full-time or part-time placements, with consideration given to flexible hybrid models. Typical working hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and assignments may span various locations, as site specifics are still being finalized.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or an equivalent credential)
  • Current Minnesota School Psychologist license (PELSB-issued)
  • Strong commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive service delivery
  • Proficiency in evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health support
  • Expertise with K-12 student populations

Preferred Experience:

  • National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP), or eligibility for NCSP
  • Background in providing consultation and intervention support within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to facilitate and support adult learning
  • Familiarity with crisis prevention, intervention, and mental health postvention
  • Comprehensive knowledge of special education laws at both federal and state levels
  • Successful experience in urban and multicultural educational environments
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, intervention planning, and mental health supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement inclusive interventions and supports
  • Conduct problem-solving consultations within an MTSS framework
  • Support staff and student crisis intervention efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational laws
