Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
\nLocation: Rancho Bernardo, CA 92128
\n Job Type: Contract | Approximately 6+ Months
\n Work Setting: Outpatient/Retail Health Clinic
\n Floating: May be required to support nearby clinic locations
Schedule Options
\nFull-Time: 32–40 hours per week, including every other weekend. Shifts may range from 7–10 hours based on clinic needs.
\nPart-Time: 3 days per week, Monday–Friday, with no weekend requirement. Hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking an experienced and patient-focused LVN/LPN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings and strong skills in clinical assessment, medication administration, patient education, and care coordination.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n Conduct patient assessments and obtain and document vital signs.
\n Administer medications and vaccines according to clinical protocols.
\n Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
\n Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and follow-up care.
\n Review patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and treatment responses.
\n Provide patient education related to medications, preventive care, self-care, and disease management.
\n Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems.
\n Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
\n Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment.
\n Float to nearby clinic locations when needed.
Required Qualifications
\n Active and unrestricted LVN or LPN license in the applicable state.
\n Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
\n Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room is required.
\n Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
\n EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred.
\n Current BLS/CPR certification.
\n Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
\n Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.
