Position Overview

The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote students' academic achievement, behavioral growth, and social-emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
* Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
* Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and present findings during eligibility and IEP meetings
* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective student support plans
* Provide consultation on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions
* Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans and positive behavior supports
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education processes
* Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed
Qualifications
* Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
* Active Delaware School Psychologist certification or eligibility for licensure required
* Previous school-based experience preferred
* Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
* Knowledge of special education laws, IEP procedures, and evaluation timelines
