School Psychologist - Machesney Park, Illinois

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Experience working with students in grades K-8, with strong understanding of their academic, social, and emotional development
• Proficient in conducting psycho-educational evaluations, writing reports, and developing intervention plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment and consultation services for K-8 students as part of the special education and RTI/MTSS process
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional concerns
• Support the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies fostering student success
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities throughout the contract term
