Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Prior experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability to a range of student needs and grade levels (K-12)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage evaluations, therapy sessions, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations according to student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
  • Maintain up-to-date records and accurate session notes
  • Work collaboratively with educators and families to foster supportive learning environments
  • Serve as a resource for staff on communication strategies and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed
