Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time onsite position supports students in an elementary school setting and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Provide individualized and small-group speech-language therapy services
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs
- Complete therapy logs and maintain accurate service documentation
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Complete Medicaid billing and related compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and/or educational credential as required
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and special education processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Experience working with students with autism and diverse communication needs is a plus
