School Psychologist - Andover, MN
Job Description
Make a real difference in students' lives as a part-time, onsite School Psychologist at a school located near Anoka, MN. This contract opportunity, beginning in late August 2026 and running through early June 2027, offers the chance to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth in a dynamic educational environment. Work 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to contribute your expertise during the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience providing school-based psychoeducational evaluations and interventions
- Strong skills in individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Comfortable working onsite and managing a flexible caseload as assigned
- School Social Workers with MN licensure may also be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with staff and families on the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior plans
- Deliver counseling and mental health support to students individually and in groups
- Participate in problem-solving teams, RTI/MTSS processes, and crisis prevention and intervention activities
- Maintain clear communication and documentation according to district and state requirements
- Contribute expertise to help create a safe, supportive school climate for all learners
