This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on providing 1:1 care to a 4-year-old student requiring oxygen support, ensuring a safe and nurturing school experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (IL) required
- Prior experience working in a school setting is mandatory
- Previous critical care nursing experience preferred
- Must submit proof of nursing license/certification and current resume
- LPNs are not eligible for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver vigilant 1:1 nursing care for a preschool student while on campus
- Monitor and manage oxygen therapy and respond promptly to medical needs
- Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers concerning the student’s health status and care plan
- Support the student’s participation in school activities with consideration for safety and well-being
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation
Role Details:
- Start Date: August 13, 2026; End Date: May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Fridays only, 8:45AM – 11:45AM
