Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist. This onsite role runs August 6th through May 28th with a steady, weekday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. You'll provide essential speech and language services within an engaging educational environment, proudly making a positive impact on learners from PK through 12th grade—and potentially older students in specialty programs.

Utilize your expertise with a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students per SLP. Assignments are thoughtfully tailored based on your strengths and preferences, whether you thrive working with younger children or adolescents. You may be assigned to one or two campuses, such as a PK site, elementary, middle, or high school, or a specialized transition program.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
  • State licensure or eligibility for Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Comfortable serving diverse grade levels (PK-12 and transitional young adult programs).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver diagnoses for speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports.
  • Support students in achieving their communicative and educational potential.
