This onsite contract opportunity for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offers an engaging role where professionals can work directly with a diverse student population and collaborate with a skilled team. Successful candidates bring a strong foundation in school-based speech therapy, thrive in collaborative settings, and are adept at balancing robust caseloads with quality intervention. Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is valued, though not mandatory. Those with supervisory experience will be able to mentor and guide SLPAs alongside facilitators. This position welcomes SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) eager to contribute their expertise.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California SLP license with CCC or CF credential
- At least 2 years of recent California school-based experience
- Minimum of 1 year working with SEIS systems
- Experience supporting or supervising SLPAs (preferred)
- High level of organization for managing caseloads and new referrals
- Bilingual Spanish skills (preferred, not required)
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Track progress and document performance within SEIS
- Mentor and engage with SLPA team members when appropriate
