Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active CA SLP license or eligible for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
  • Ability to manage a diverse student caseload
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide screening, evaluation, and therapy services to students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Offer consultation and resources to teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional growth
