Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CA SLP license or eligible for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to manage a diverse student caseload
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
