Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pasadena, Texas

Soliant
Pasadena, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant school setting. This in-person, contract position spans 37.5 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027. You’ll have the unique advantage of working alongside a supportive mentor SLP and a highly collaborative evaluation team, including an ARD Facilitator, diagnostician, and school psychologist.

Serving approximately 60 students, you’ll provide services in a dynamic environment that includes walk-in speech services, an ECSE classroom, a self-contained classroom for school-age students, and an Autism support program. Not all students in each program receive services, so your caseload will be manageable and varied. Importantly, your time will be optimized, as a dedicated ARD Facilitator handles all transfer events and annual speech ARDs, allowing you to focus on clinical care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC or eligibility for CFY
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-based populations
  • Comfort in healthcare-related and educational SLP settings
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain required documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource to support student success

You will thrive in a supportive community where professional growth is encouraged and mentorship is available every step of the way. The students begin the academic year on August 19, 2026, giving you time to onboard and prepare.

If you are eager to inspire and empower students with your expertise, apply today to embark on a meaningful career adventure!
