Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying student needs
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
- Offer expertise and training to school staff regarding speech and language interventions
