\nResponsibilities\n
\n
\nPerforms all essential functions of the Mammo Technologist.\n
\n
\nServes as a technical resource and subject matter expert for staff, management, and physicians in Mammography.Oversees the patient schedule and workflow to maximum efficiency as established by department benchmarking.\n
\n
\nCoordinates staff coverage during unexpected high exam volumes as well as minimizing staff in times of low volumes.\n
\n
\nPerforms or has input in staff scheduling and timecard edits based on the department guidelines.\n
\n
\nParticipates in QA/QC programs. Directs personnel in maintaining standards set out by accrediting bodies, licensures and safety guidelines.\n
\n
\nParticipates in scheduling of department's technical equipment service and/or maintenance.\n
\n
\nDevelops training programs and evaluates technical skills of staff. Responsible for ensuring staff has completed new employee and annual employee competencies.\n
\n
\nRecommends to the coordinator/manager/director personnel actions for hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures of staff.\n
\n
\nParticipates in submitting information and imaging for accreditation following department guidelines for accreditation processing. Responsible for reporting timely updates to one up on progress.\n
\n
\nAids in the annual review and periodic updates of department policies and protocols.\n
\n
\nPerforms on call duties and/or work variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs.\n
\n
\nPerforms coaching with staff and documents conversations. Performs record of conversation and progressive discipline at the direction of their one up.\n

\nThe compensation range for this position is $36.14per hour - $62.16per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
