Additional Information

• Ongoing locum tenens coverage
• Weekday shifts of 8 and 10 hours
• 16-hour beeper call during weekdays
• 24-hour beeper call on weekends
• Availability for weekend shifts is preferred
• Preferred commitment: One week at a time, including both scheduled shifts and call duties
• Flexible call schedule with options to adjust assignments as needed

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology (ACGME accredited)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the ABA
• Must qualify for an unrestricted medical license in Texas
• DEA registration required before starting

• Focus exclusively on pediatric surgical cases
• Involvement in neurosurgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• General surgery cases
• ENT surgeries
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to adolescents
• Average daily case load: less than 20 cases

Providers should be proficient in the following:

• Regional anesthesia blocks
• Caudal blocks
• Pediatric spinal anesthesia
• Epidural anesthesia
• Other pediatric regional techniques
