Job Description
We are excited to announce an opening for a fellowship-trained Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join our expanding clinic. As a key player in Iowa's premier community-based Electrophysiology Program, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists to provide cutting-edge therapies and foster innovation in heart rhythm care throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Manage an average of 11-13 patients daily in the clinic.
- Participate in minimal general cardiology call obligations.
- Engage in 2 clinic days and 3 procedure days each week.
- Contribute to cardiology fellowship education.
- Participate in shared outreach clinics, approximately 2 days per month.
- Involve yourself in clinical trials and research initiatives.

Our accredited Cardiology Fellowship program hosts 8 fellows and operates from 8 primary office locations, serving over 15 outreach facilities across Iowa. With an active clinic research department, we participate in major STS registries and conduct more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.

Working ConditionsOur medical center is a Level II Trauma facility that has been serving the community since 1893. We operate four non-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds. Our parent organization encompasses 420 care locations, including 18 owned hospitals and 25 affiliated medical centers, addressing the healthcare needs of Iowans statewide.
