Compensation: Up to $1,451 – $1,982 gross pay weekly, which translates to $40.32 – $55.06 per hour.

Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing daily departmental operations, staffing, and workflow.
• Supervise, guide, and assess team members.
• Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain high standards of department operations and patient care.
• Provide direct patient care as required within your scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and implement necessary modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance patient outcomes.
• Foster a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during your assigned shift.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience:
• Current and valid RN License in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
• Minimum of one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $40.32 to $55.06. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation offered will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
