We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Anesthesiologist to become part of our regional team, serving multiple hospitals in West Michigan. Position Details
  • Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (prorated on-call); all shifts are in-house, eliminating reliance on home call for core compensation.
  • Flexibility: Enjoy adaptable full-time and part-time schedules with a focus on work-life balance. Call and holiday duties are shared among the team, allowing for individual hourly and compensation flexibility.
Location and Hospital Information
  • Muskegon: Includes a Level 2 trauma center and a Level 4 community hospital.
Anesthesiology Practice
  • Work within a care team model, providing medical oversight for CRNAs while also having the chance to perform cases personally.
  • Engage with a diverse mix of general and complex cases, including orthopedic (both elective and trauma), gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology (including EP and structural heart), obstetrics, and comprehensive cardiothoracic cases.
  • Utilize advanced regional techniques and peripheral nerve blocks to achieve enhanced recovery goals in collaboration with our surgical teams.
  • Opportunities to mentor residents and students are available.

  • Compensation of $285/hour for in-house clinical shifts, with a competitive structure for multi-site clinical coverage.
  • Additional shifts can earn up to $350/hour, providing opportunities for increased income through flexible scheduling and extra coverage.
  • Potential for up to $75,000 annually in value-based incentives, based on quality, outcomes, and system performance, prorated according to FTE and start date.
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $75,000.
  • Relocation assistance available up to $15,000.

Qualifications
  • Physicians must be board certified in a relevant clinical area or board eligible, with a commitment to achieving board certification within five years of the start date (unless otherwise required by applicable medical staff bylaws).
  • Active Michigan medical license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience with documenting in Epic EMR.
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support for community health initiatives.
