Warehouse Associate

Position Overview

• Brand new role supporting a Data Center Transportation team.
• Supports the UTR (Under the Roof) side of transportation operations, working within a warehouse environment.
• Opportunity to help define and improve processes as the role evolves.
• Tentative start date: 8/17.

Location

• Manassas, VA

Schedule

• Tuesday–Friday
• Hours still being finalized:
• • 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM OR
  • 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Pay

• Up to $21/HR

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Receive and sort inbound and outbound data center parts.
• Support inventory control and cycle counting.
• Stage materials for transportation routes.
• Print and apply shipment tickets.
• Route parts to correct deliveries.
• Support loading and receiving activities.
• Process break/fix inventory (power supplies, replacement parts, etc.).
• Receive returned inventory from sites and prepare it for redistribution.
• Assist warehouse operations as needed.

Must-Haves

1. Tell me about your experience working in a warehouse, inventory, logistics, transportation, or material handling environment.
2. Have you worked with inventory tracking, cycle counting, receiving, shipping, or staging materials for delivery?
3. This role requires a high level of reliability. Can you provide an example of a job where attendance and dependability were critical?
4. Describe a time where attention to detail prevented a mistake or helped identify a problem.
5. Are you comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment, standing/walking throughout the shift and safely lifting up to 40 pounds with team assistance when needed?
6. Are you comfortable working a schedule that may start as early as 5:00 AM?
7. This is a brand-new position where processes are still being developed. Tell me about a time you had to adapt to changing processes or help build a new process.
