Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant K-12 educational setting near Somerset, MA. Work closely with educators, families, and students, using your expertise to make a lasting difference in delivering high-quality psychological services. This engaging, full-time assignment begins in August 2026 and continues through June 2027, providing continuity and the chance to build strong relationships within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist Credential required for practice in the state
- Previous experience working within K-12 settings is preferred
- Solid understanding of special education procedures, IEP development, and assessment tools
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of around 70 students efficiently and compassionately
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, observations, and data analysis to determine student needs
- Collaborate in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support crisis intervention and provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Offer consultation services to teachers, administrators, and families to support positive learning environments
- Maintain thorough and confidential student records, in compliance with regulations
- Play an active role in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring student-centered solutions
