Job Description
Make a meaningful difference supporting 6th to 12th grade students in a school-based setting near Port Saint Joe, FL. This contract opportunity runs from August 10th, 2026, through June 1st, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week across five days. Utilize your specialized knowledge in speech-language pathology to foster students’ growth, collaboration, and communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, developing IEP goals, and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades 6–12
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
