You’ll collaborate closely with our full-time SLP, providing seamless continuity of care. Each student you work with receives personalized therapy, with sessions thoughtfully coordinated between both providers. Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license for the state of Connecticut
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience or clinical background working with children, especially in early childhood and elementary settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with IEP development and familiarity with school-based documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services two days per week from 8:15am–3:30pm, working primarily with high-functioning Pre-K and elementary students
• Share caseload responsibilities, ensuring students seen for multiple sessions per week get equitable access to both SLPs
• Coordinate with the full-time SLP for therapy planning, evaluations, and team meetings
• Conduct assessments and contribute to planning and placement team (PPT) meetings
• Maintain clear documentation and collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes
