School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elkin, North Carolina

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, valid North Carolina SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations strongly encouraged
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting academic and social-emotional growth in children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and individual settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings and support school-based initiatives for student wellness and success
