Virtual School Psychologist | Georgia

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is open from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, based in Columbus, GA. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive psychological services to students across the district via telehealth and in-school settings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and supporting students’ mental health and behavioral needs
• Collaborating with educators and families to develop interventions
• Administering evaluations and interpreting results to guide support strategies
• Completing daily logs to document services provided and track progress
• Adapting services based on age group preferences and expertise through direct communication during the interview process

Qualifications and experience include:

• Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification for Psychology
• Proven experience as a School Psychologist, ideally with telehealth capabilities
• Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload and maintain detailed service documentation
• Effective communication skills and flexibility to work with diverse student populations

This role requires candidates comfortable with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week; part-time applicants will not be considered. The caseload and student assignments will be tailored to align with the candidate’s areas of expertise and preferences, discussed during the interview.
