Special Education Teacher - Minneapolis, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license (required)
• Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting emotional and behavioral disorders
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills with families, staff, and service providers
• Flexibility to work with multi-grade levels in a resource room setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support services aligning with students’ IEP goals
• Partner closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families to facilitate academic, social, and behavioral progress
• Design and implement strategies to address a range of learning and behavioral needs within a resource room environment
• Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings for up to 22 students
• Promote an inclusive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student success
