Multiple contract positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, with opportunities for those passionate about making a significant impact across a range of grade levels and student needs. This is an onsite, full-time commitment, allowing you to engage closely with students and faculty alike.
Multiple positions available:
- Three Mild/Moderate Special Education roles (covering grades 2-12, K-8, and 7-8)
- One Mild/Moderate Resource Specialist (grades K-6)
- One Mild/Moderate Special Day Class teacher (grades 2-5)
- One Emotional Disturbance Specialist (grades 6-8)
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Special Education teaching credential (California certification preferred)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, assessment, and compliance
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student goals and state standards
- Effective communicator and compassionate advocate for student needs
- Collaborative spirit—comfortable working with general education teachers, specialists, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with exceptionalities
- Participate in IEP meetings and student evaluations
- Employ evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
- Provide behavioral and academic support in both individual and group settings
This full-time, onsite contract runs from August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027.
