School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Kennesaw, GA

In this full-time contract role, you’ll provide dedicated 1:1 care at an elementary school setting near Kennesaw, GA, from August 5th, 2026 through May 21st, 2027.

Your specialized nursing expertise will be essential in supporting a student who requires close monitoring and respiratory support. Your daily presence and clinical skills allow this student to fully participate in their day-to-day educational experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active LPN license in good standing (required)
• Prior experience as an LPN or LVN in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in respiratory assessment, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and maintaining oxygen saturation
• Able to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
• Compassionate, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of children with complex medical concerns

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 care for the assigned student, including assessment, chest physiotherapy, and suctioning as needed
• Monitor and maintain oxygen saturation above 92%, intervening promptly as necessary
• Document care and communicate effectively with school staff and family
• Support the student’s participation in classroom and school activities while ensuring safety and well-being
• Follow medical protocols and collaborate with healthcare providers
