Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students’ daily lives as a paraprofessional in a welcoming educational environment. We have four contract openings for paraprofessionals who are eager to support students and collaborate with teachers in both one-on-one and classroom settings. This unique role begins in early September and continues through June, offering a steady schedule during the academic year.
What we’re seeking:
- Demonstrated experience working within K-12 schools
- High school diploma (no additional certifications or higher education required)
- Ability to provide three professional references, including a most recent manager, before an interview can be scheduled
- Flexibility to serve in both individualized (1:1) and general classroom assignments
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a passion for supporting student success
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with individualized instruction and implementing educational plans
- Providing support to students with diverse learning needs, both in classroom and 1:1 settings
- Supporting teachers with classroom management and daily lesson delivery
- Fostering inclusion and positive peer interactions
- Maintaining effective communication with staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
This contract offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 2:30pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week. The assignment begins September 1, 2026, and concludes on June 16, 2027, making it ideal for those seeking a predictable calendar.
