Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, where your expertise supports both students in a traditional school setting and those who are medically homebound. This role offers flexibility with the option for either part-time or full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday, beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding on June 8, 2027.

Your primary responsibilities cover a dynamic caseload that fluctuates during the school year. Most students are on-site, while a smaller group requires homebound services. You will have the chance to make a genuine impact on communication, language, and learning outcomes for a diverse student population. Site placements for school-based assignments will be determined to best serve student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Delaware SLP license (required to be considered)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort and flexibility to travel for homebound visits as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students in both school settings and private homes
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress
  • Consult with caregivers and teachers to generalize strategies across environments
