Minimum 1+ years Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist experience and RCES or ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced professional to support the imaging needs of our healthcare facility, specializing specifically in Electrophysiology (EP Tech). This contract position requires a candidate confident in clinical EP procedures and imaging protocols to enhance patient care and support the cardiology department.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification or Associate’s degree in Electrophysiology or related medical imaging field
  • Previous experience as an EP Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Solid understanding of imaging technology and EP lab equipment
  • Ability to interpret and assist with electrophysiological studies and procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Excellent patient communication skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, professional approach to maintaining safety and compliance standards

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare EP lab and imaging equipment for procedures according to sterile standards
  • Support physicians and colleagues during electrophysiology studies, ablations, and pacemaker/ICD implantations
  • Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment during procedures
  • Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, providing support as needed
  • Collaborate with the cardiovascular care team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
  • Stay current with best practices, safety protocols, and new imaging technologies relevant to EP labs

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
