Job Description

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
- Active state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering student growth and building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, services, and communications
- Collaborate with educational teams to support generalization of skills in the classroom
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on best practices
- Educate and support teachers and families to enhance communication outcomes for students
