Key qualifications and background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in a school-based environment or strong interest in working with children and adolescents
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy individually or in small groups
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Main responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and observations

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Keep accurate records and document progress in accordance with school policies
  • Educate staff and families on communication strategies and support techniques
