Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least one year of recent experience in a NICU setting
• Strong knowledge of neonatal intensive care protocols and equipment
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for high-acuity infants
• Proficiency in effective communication with multidisciplinary care teams and families
• Current BLS and NRP certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of neonates, delivering interventions per physician orders and NICU standards
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and complex treatments for premature and critically ill infants
• Collaborate with neonatologists and allied professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate and support families throughout their NICU experience, ensuring a family-centered approach to care
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and best practices for NICU care
