Job Description
Empower the next generation of technology innovators as a full-time 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher in a dynamic middle school setting near Zion, IL. This onsite position is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year, from August 17 to May 27, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline
- Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s)
- Solid understanding of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
- Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging learning environment for adolescent learners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver creative, standards-based technology lessons tailored to 7th and 8th grade students
- Utilize modern instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement
- Assess, track, and support individual student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
- Collaborate with grade-level teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives
- Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, guardians, and stakeholders
