Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Hamden, CT

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Prior experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents preferred
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and ethical standards
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop individualized intervention plans based on assessment data
• Detail-oriented with effective documentation and reporting abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop data-driven behavior intervention plans
• Analyze behavioral data to inform practice and adjust strategies as needed
• Provide direct support and consultation to school staff, teachers, and families
• Train and supervise paraprofessionals and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and well-being
• Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
