Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience working in early childhood and/or special education settings is highly valued.
• Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the preschool consortium to meet student needs.

• Efficient organizational and documentation abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students’ occupational therapy needs through individualized plans and interventions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to develop and monitor IEP goals.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance participation, sensory processing, motor skills, and independence in school activities.
• Provide support, education, and resources to families and staff to cultivate inclusive learning environments.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques and strategies based on student progress and team input.
