Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School Speech-Language Pathologist supporting early childhood students. This contract role is based onsite near Johnstown, CO, and offers the chance to make a real difference in young learners’ lives throughout the academic year, from August 13, 2026, to May 20, 2027 (dates subject to change).

In this setting, you'll work full-time—37.5 hours weekly—with a manageable caseload of 50-55 early childhood students. Collaborate with educators, partner with families, and supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Preference will be given to professionals able to work fully in-person; however, a hybrid schedule will be considered for candidates able to provide in-person supervision a minimum of three days per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP State License
  • Current Educator Certificate
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with early childhood populations preferred
  • Prior supervision of SLPA(s) a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress
  • Supervise and support the assigned SLPA
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and families
  • Ensure school and state compliance with documentation and reporting
