We are seeking a dedicated General Education Teacher who is eager to foster an engaging learning environment for grades 7-8 on a full-time contract basis. Key Qualifications:

  • Hold active Illinois teaching licensure and certification
  • Possess a current CTE (Career & Technical Education) endorsement
  • Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting required
  • Skilled in building rapport with students from varying backgrounds
  • Effective classroom management and communication abilities
  • Passion for delivering structured, inclusive, and interactive lessons

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum aligned with state and district guidelines
  • Inspire students through dynamic instruction, classroom activities, and real-world connections
  • Manage daily classroom responsibilities and maintain a positive, organized environment
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and administrators
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning needs
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and school meetings

Position Details:

  • Contract role, full-time: 7:30AM to 2:21PM, Monday through Friday
  • Academic year commitment: August 26, 2026 to June 3, 2027
  • One open position available
