Make an impact working in-person as a contract School Psychologist, providing critical support and services to students in K-8 settings across two locations in the Chicago area. This position offers the opportunity to help shape the educational and social-emotional success of a diverse student population through collaboration and innovative problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology required
  • Active license for School Psychology (PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement in Illinois)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in school-based settings
  • Deep commitment to fostering each child’s academic and social-emotional growth
  • Track record of living out core values dedicated to student wellbeing and success
  • Proficiency in preventing, assessing, identifying, and supporting various student needs affecting learning

Responsibilities:

  • Screen, evaluate, and support students facing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
  • Actively participate in special education, 504, and MTSS teams to ensure student needs are met and compliance standards are exceeded
  • Serve as a consultant on MTSS systems, leading interventions for Tier 3 students and monitoring progress
  • Prepare and present evaluation documents and reports in accordance with compliance timelines
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and outside professionals regarding student development and needs
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
  • Share best practices and provide professional development to school psychology teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in regular staff, professional development, and team meetings
